Lorenzo Cerroni, MD
was born in Rome, Italy, on January 24, 1959. Graduated with an MD in Rome, Italy, 1985. Since July 1989 he has specialized in Dermatology and Venereology. In December 1994 he was promoted to Associate Professor of Dermatology and Venereology at the University of Graz, Austria. He's also a member of the Editorial Board of several dermatologic and dermatopathologic journals. President of the International Society of Dermatopathology (2001-2003).
Dr. Cerroni worked on over 200 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed journals for a total of over 200 impact points. Over 400 presentations and posters at international meetings, including over 100 presentations as an invited speaker. He's Author of several books on cutaneous lymphomas and on melanocytic tumors of the skin. He's also an organizer of several international dermatologic and dermatopathologic meetings and courses.
