Richard Bennett, MD
a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, is a specialist in Mohs micrographic surgery.
Dr. Bennett received extensive training in Mohs micrographic surgery in the Department of Dermatology at New York University Medical Center. He completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and received his M.D. degree from Case Western University. Dr. Bennett also served as a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Bennett teaches dermatology residents at UCLA, USC and Martin Luther King-Drew Schools of Medicine. He is currently a clinical professor in dermatology at the UCLA and USC Schools of Medicine and has served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
