»» Login Robert A. Norman, MD   Robert A. Norman, MD is the chief physician and owner of Dermatology Healthcare, founded in 1994 to provide skin and wound care services for Florida nursing home patients. The company now services over 500 nursing homes and ALF’s. Dr. Norman also has a private practice in dermatology and trains medical students and residents. He is a faculty member of Nova Southeastern Medical School in the department of internal medicine, division of dermatology. He lectured on Geriatric Dermatology at the American Academy of Dermatology annual meetings in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003. He also lectured at the Florida state Podiatry meeting in January of 2002, the national Nurse Practitioners' meeting in 2001 and 2002, the American Geriatrics Society annual meeting in 2001 and 2002, the British Association of Dermatology (Belfast) in 2004, and gave the keynote address at the Advances in Skin and Wound Care meeting in October of 2004. Dr. Norman also heads the International Society of Geriatric Dermatology. He recently completed his Masters in Public Health at the University of South Florida, graduating Phi Kappa Phi. In early September of 2001, he lectured in Havana, Cuba, on geriatric dermatology, and provided medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to the community. He had his book Geriatric Dermatology published in March 2001 by CRC/Parthenon Publishing (New York/London) and co-edited the book Clinical Geriatrics CRC/Parthenon Publishing (New York/London)in 2003 and has written over 100 articles for the lay and medical press including the Journal of the National Academy of Sciences and Discover magazine.
